I have been reaching out to all Violet Contributors, advertisers, etc to announce that I am ceasing production of the Magazine after 3 years. I really appreciate everyone's support over the past few years, but I had a tough decision to make regarding the continuation of the magazine. I came to the conclusion that I needed to change the format, as well as take on a new business partner to take educating women in our area to a new level.
Please be assured this is not a case of a shrinking Violet, but rather a metamorphosis. Something very exciting is happening behind the scenes! I have joined forces with Merci Miglino, Speaker, Trainer, Coach, and former Director of the Capital District eWomen Network to develop a more comprehensive resource for women in our area. We are hard at work planning an incredible magazine, Capital Woman, packed with useful information, along with an interactive website to feature content from the magazine, a marketplace, blogs, and more. Our motto is more time, more energy, more fun, and who doesn't need that!
I cannot thank everyone enough for your support, each and every advertiser, reader, and contributor has been part of the foundation that has helped Violet come this far.
